Character Bios: Day 11

Ah yes, Latara the flute player. I don't really have a lot of memories of Latara since it's been over 20 years since I saw her in action. But I do remember that she was one of the leading characters on the show. I'm surprised that Kenner didn't make an action figure of her or Kneesaa.

Action Figure Photo Archives

The action figure photo archives are currently being built in the forums. My goal is to have have each thread begin with at least one nice picture of the figure or figures that are under discussion. Curious to check it out? Head on over!

Horville

Meet Horville, the owner of Horville's Hut of Horrors on the forest moon of Endor. Horville was featured in the Ewoks episode titled Horville's Hut of Horrors, which is his only appearance in all of the Star Wars Expanded Universe to date. What exactly is he? Well, I don't exactly know. He looks similar to the Hammerhead (modern name Ithorian) that you can see in the cantina in A New Hope, but there are also some big differences (location of mouth, neck). To me, Horville looks like a Star Wars character who is in dire need of a backstory (remember the What's The Story feature at the starwars.com databank?) as well as needing more exploration in the modern Expanded Universe. Why may you ask? Because I think he looks like a neat character! And I'm saying that having never seen the episode of Ewoks that he was actually in!
So if anyone has any more information or pictures of Horville, please go to the forums and share it!

Ebay Today

Here's a great auction for two of the best Droids action figures ever: Thall Joben and Jann Tosh! It doesn't look like they come with their guns or coins, but it's still a great deal for someone looking to build a Droids collection. To check out this auction, just look here.

Character Bios: Day 10

Kea Moll is the female hero of the first story arc. She is also the only female character ever made in the Droids action figure line. She has a really unusual hairstyle, but after seeing the prequels, it shouldn't seem so odd anymore!
